10 Reasons to Exhibit in the Special Exhibition Room at Gallery 294
1. The fee for using the Special Exhibitions Room is set at $50 per week, & the commission on sales is set at 30%.
2. Gallery 294 is centrally heated during cooler months and air-conditioned during warmer months.
3. You do not have to man your exhibition. Members of the co-operative will be on duty.
4. Gallery 294 is open daily. 10am – 4pm, 7 days a week. (closed Good Friday, Christmas Day and am of ANZAC day)
5. Professional wall labels and sales sheets are provided free of charge.
6. EFTPOS facilities are available for sales.
7. Artists are paid for sales via direct deposit and issued with a detailed statement.
8. A small workshop space is available if you are interested in conducting workshops during your exhibition.
The cost is $5 per person that attends.
9. Gallery 294 has FROGS (friends of the gallery) who receive newsletters via email and love to attend exhibition openings, workshops, and artist’s talks.
10. Gallery 294 has a fully appointed kitchen.
Crockery, cutlery and wine glasses can be accessed for openings and workshops.
