Talk About Art: Discussion Group - 2012
Gallery 294 has established a discussion group that meets the 4th Friday of each month at the Gallery from 10am to 12n.
The purpose of the group is to allow artists and people interested in art to talk about art, techniques, exhibitions and all matters pertaining to art. It is an informal gathering lead by local artist Christine Upton.
The group also organises visits, in between discussions, to nearby and regional galleries so that we can chat to like minded people while we look at art and while we travel.
The discussion group has an open door policy, everyone is welcome and you can attend regularly or when you can.
There is no fee but we do ask that a gold coin donation be made to cover the cost of morning tea.

'Now I See' : Recent artworks by Robert Jeffers until 1 May, 2012
'Now I see' is an excellent exhibition of mixed media by Robert Jeffers. The works are inspired by architecture and recent travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina, New York and Corowa. Robert uses a variety of media in the development of the final image. The backgrounds are built up of found paper objects and colour with the drawings done with pen, pencil or indian ink with a stick. More
